News of thrills and confusions.

PM Abdullah Ahmad Badawi has denied claims in the Raja Petra's statutory declaration that he was given a report on the `alleged roles' of Datin Seri Rosmah Hj Mansor, wife of the Dato Seri Najib, on the Altantuya's murder. According to allegation in the statutory declaration by Raja Petra, the PM was given the report about the murder by the military inteligence which `Rosmah was a part of it'. ` I have not recieve anything. Nothing was sent to me'. the PM insisted.

Another episode of `words of two human beings'. Meanwhile the Attorney General has started investigating the statutory declaration by Raja Petra. To some people who have already `being fed by some informations' about the murder case, Raja Petra's SD was not something to be taken lightly. It is a statutory declaration not an ordinary statement. Raja Petra must and should know the implications and the consequences. He could end up in jail if the allegations were not true. The PM, meanwhile, is also serious and firm in denying it. He could also be charged and could end up in jail. Although these seems to be an absolute remote situation. The truth must prevail.

Is it another one of those political thrills or another `highpowered political' political agenda!

The Kedah's Menteri Besar Azizan Razak, is still determined to go with the logging plan in the water catchment areas in Kedah. He was even in defiance with the advice given PAS's spiritual leader's Dato Nik Aziz to put the plan on hold. Azizan was quoted that the Kelantan's MB might have been wrongly informed. Chief Minister of Penang, Lim Guan Eng also echoed the same sentiments, quoting the enviromental aspects of the proposed plan. Azizan quoted the situation `as parents who are extremely obsessed with their offspring'. Wow..that was a very interesting quote and a good political alibi!!! My only reservation was that, the NST carried a quater page statement by one Mr Phung Fatt Chow, the Kedah branch Malaysian Nature Society's, Chairman. How thoughful the NST is, at least we know the Malaysian Nature Society has its roles too. Or is it only on specific political situation?

Selangor's Menteri Besar, TS Khalid Ibrahim also had his share of problem too. The suspension of his former special officer Yahya Shaari has created a `bombshell' in the PR state. Yahya's seems to have `bounced back' a counter challenge to Khalid on his allegation. Yahya said he was not consulted on the issue. PKR Divisions in Selangor were also not happy with the Khalid's appointments of local councillors. Dr Badrul Amin, one of the division head has gathered his supporters to seek an explaination with Keadilan de facto leader, Anwar Ibrahim.

Another one of those normal political attitude and domestic`hooha' in Malaysian politics. These issues were very common in Malaysian political scenarios. It happened to all political parties in this country, so it was nothing new anyway. To most people it is a routine issues to all political parties. I have done this and I have done that, so what is for me then? Justified right?

Again the NST gave a very prominent coverage too. Another positive sign of NST's unbiased reporting right? To Khalid Ibrahim's administration, publicity comes in any forms. `Food for thought' in the coming Sanglang's by election.
